YN - Term 6 week 4 update

This week we continued discussing and writing about out adventures we had at the park. The children also enjoyed going on a bear hunt! We searched for bears hiding around the classroom with a partner and described where we found them using positional language such as next to, on top of, behind and oposite. Maybe you could make your own bear hunt at home.

The Hedgehogs have been working together to build dens using a variety of materials. They have also been helping to keep our campsite outside tidy by washing up and hanging up clothes to dry.

In our maths area we have been using stencils and chalk on natural materials to identify and represent numbers. The children continued this outside using the stencils in our sensory tray.

The children have really enjoyed hanging their own things on their pegs at the start of our sessions, this is really helping to build their independence ready for school in September.
