Autumn 2 Week 3

We've had another busy week in Year 1! In History we have loved playing with lots of 'old' toys! We tried hard to persevere to get the ball in the cup and looked at old string puppets. We also learnt how to play Noughts and Crosses and dominoes! In English, we have done a fabulous job of getting our purple polishing pens out to edit our stories. We added correct punctuation and looked at adjectives and conjucntions! In Maths, we have been introduced to Mr Croc. He is a very greedy croc who likes eating big numbers! He showed us the <, > and = signs. We've been using the vocabulary 'greater than', 'less than' and 'equal to' to compare 2 numbers. In P4C, we celebrated World Philosophy Day by thinking of some big questions! Take a look on the school's Twitter account to see some of them! (@TadpoleFarmCEPA) Make sure you follow us on there too as we will be tweeting more regularly!

Stay safe everybody!
