All Year One children take the ‘Phonics Screening Check’ - a statutory assessment required by legislation.
From Reception, children will take home reading books that have been individually matched to their phonetic knowledge. Books will include titles straight from Monster Phonics Land and others that have been carefully matched using the scheme.
