Academy Council

Our Academy Council is made up of a dedicated group of volunteers who, along with the Head Teacher, has overall responsibility for the running of the school.

Their responsibilities include:

• Ensuring clarity of vision, ethos and strategic direction
• Holding the Headteacher to account for the educational performance of the school and its pupils
• Advising on school policies and procedures
• Helping to recruit staff
• Overseeing the financial performance of the school and making sure its money is well spent
